In 2019, two pharmacy undergraduates at the University of Ibadan — Taiwo Olawehinmi and Yusuff Adebayo Adebisi — began a quiet revolution. They believed students could inspire and support one another to lead, and that African pharmacy students deserved a space to dream ambitiously and build sustainable impact.
What started as a small cohort of 15 fellows has become a pan-African movement. Through six cohorts, Pharma Incubation Hub has supported nearly 400 pharmacy undergraduates across 16 African countries, connecting them with mentors, research opportunities, leadership development and a community of peers committed to excellence.
The Hub fills a specific gap: it provides the right ingredients for the making of exceptional pharmacists — a blend of structured guidance, practical experience, and a network that opens doors long after the fellowship ends.
